visits European Parliament’s exhibition on Iranian women
The exhibition featured posters displaying Iranian women‘s pain and suffering for public viewing and visitors from the Parliament of Europe.
Maryam Rajavi visited the exhibition along with Ms. Becerra and former Congressman Patrick Kennedy. In brief remarks, she said: This exhibition on the occasion of the International Women’s Day is an extraordinary and valuable initiative.
The photos in this exhibition are really moving, however, no picture could express women’s pain and suffering as it should. The suffering of women whose daughters have been executed, and you can see here that there are many of them. The agony of women who have been tortured for their beliefs.
The pain of women who have been humiliated and the sorrow of those whose talents have been perished because of being a woman.
She said: The ruling monster of fundamentalism in Iran is the worst enemy of women. The circumstances fundamentalists have created for women are not just inequality; it is not simple deprivation, but a constant humiliation of women’s identity and personality.
