Maryam Rajavi in the Flower Festival
Auvers-sur-Oise, June 4, 2016 – Maryam Rajavi took part in a flower festival at the residence of one of the neighbors of the NCRI office where she met with a group of French supporters of the Iranian Resistance.
The Festival of Flowers is an old tradition in the cities of France, held every year in the month of June.
In these festivals, families in France present their best flower plantation designs for public view and visit houses of neighbors.
In one such festival this year, at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Guillot, Maryam Rajavi met with a number of residents of Auvers-sur-Oise where she said: This festival is a feast of friendship, solidarity and beauty of life. It is a feast to show the beauty of nature and all the beauties that exist in every human being. And I can see this beauty in each and every one of you.
The festival featured several artistic performances as well as an exhibition of artworks and handicraft of Auvers neighbors.
