Maryam Rajavi’s message, on the collective executions

The day is not far when Khamenei and other regime leaders would be brought to justice in an international court for their genocides in Iran, Iraq and Syria.

These courageous youths defied the ruling religious dictatorship. This is not a crime, but a duty and a responsibility that every conscious and freedom-loving Iranian must undertake. Fighting and waging war on Khamenei’s religious dictatorship is akin to worshiping God and His people. Any young man or woman who takes a step in this path, is a source of pride and admiration by the people of Iran.

From the bottom of my heart, I sincerely condole the bereaved people of Sanandaj, our Sunni compatriots, and particularly the families of those slain. I assure them that their countrymen all across the nation are on their side and share their grief and sorrow.

Our people’s tears and anguish over the unjust slaying of 25 young valiant Sunni are not out of weakness or desperation, but accumulate our people’s wrath to make up a volcano that will wash away the criminal mullahs from our homeland.

Such massacres would not help Khamenei to find a way out of the crises besetting the regime. The nuclear agreement has turned into a scandal and acted like a poison undermining the regime in its entirety. The regime is also stuck in a quagmire in Syria which injects it with another fatal poison. The regime is also particularly anxious about the brilliant achievements of the Iranian people’s Resistance over the recent months. This is why it was totally silent for a few weeks, and immediately afterwards resorted to such mass executions. The regime thus showed that it has no means but torture and executions to preserve its rule.

The executions of these young men was a crime against humanity. There was no due process of law and the victims never found the opportunity to defend themselves. Their verdicts were issued in summary trials lasting only five minutes and their files were packed with unfounded charges fabricated by the Intelligence Ministry torturers. All of them had been under savage tortures for lengthy periods. Some of them were very ill at the time of execution and had been deprived of their most basic human rights.

Of course, Khamenei, like all other vicious dictators, thinks he can escape the consequences of his evil crimes. A victim’s wife told him and his regime, “May God never forgive you.” And I would add that the people of Iran will never forgive. No doubt, Khamenei and his accomplice will be brought to justice before the people of Iran for all the blood they spilt.

I call upon all my fellow compatriots, particularly Iran’s youths, to expand and escalate their struggles against this anti-human dictatorship.
