Meeting with Senator Pierre Galand, President of the World Organization Against Torture in Europe
During her visit to Brussels, Maryam Rajavi met with Senator Pierre Galand, President of the World Organization Against Torture (OMCT) in Europe. During their conversation, Mrs. Rajavi discussed the alarming wave of executions orchestrated by Khamenei and expressed her concerns about the destructive impact of the policy of complacency, which encourages the religious dictatorship in committing these heinous crimes. She expressed gratitude to Mr. Galand for his condemnation of the inhumane crimes committed by the mullahs.
Mr. Galand emphasized the leading role played by the Iranian Resistance in the fight against tyranny. He acknowledged that the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) has fought formidable battles, placing itself in a distinct position. From his perspective, supporting such a resistance movement is a matter of dignity, as it aligns with the right side of history and has propelled the women’s movement to its zenith.
