Maryam Rajavi: The terrorist attacks in Paris are fundamentally in contrast to Islam, the religion of tolerance and co-existence. The only way to counter fundamentalism and terrorism is to stand up to the Iranian regime which is the driving force and inspiration to all the extremist forces under the name of Islam.
In a gathering on January 11, 2015, entitled, “In 2015, all for tolerance and democracy against religious extremism”, Maryam Rajavi sympathized with the people of France and the families of the victims, expressing deep regret over the criminal attacks on Charlie Hebdo, on behalf of the Iranian Resistance whose 120,000 members have lost their lives in battle with the religious fascism ruling Iran.
