Maryam Rajavi, Gathering for the international women’s day, Berlin- 7 March 2015
In a grand ceremony held on March 7, 2015, in Berlin on the International Women’s Day entitled, “For Tolerance and Equality, Against Fundamentalism and Misogyny”, participants emphasized that international advancement of the cause of equality today faces the obstacle of Islamic fundamentalism which threatens the region and the world with genocide, terrorism and discrimination and is most hostile to women. They reiterated that the only solution to this crisis stems from reliance on the force of women and the resistance movement that believes in the power of women and their leadership. They also called for the adoption of a comprehensive strategy focusing on the Iranian regime as the epicenter of Islamic fundamentalism, on lending support to Muslim democrats and on preventing the regime from gaining access to the nuclear bomb.
