Chair of the Group of the European People’s Party met with Maryam Rajavi

In meeting with Mrs. Rajavi, Joseph Daul, Chair of the Group of the European People’s Party (Christian Democrats), stressed the seriousness of European governments in imposing sanctions on the Iranian regime.

In elaborating on the scale of the regime’s suppressive actions and its conspiracies against the Iranian people’s uprising and the residents of Ashraf, Mrs. Rajavi emphasized that helping the uprising and defending Camp Ashraf as well as standing up to the regime’s blackmail and pressures not only serves the interests of the Iranian people but also is an imperative for global peace and security.
