Maryam Rajavi: I salute the freedom-loving teachers who have risen up all across Iran
I urge my compatriots, especially students and academics, to show their solidarity and support for teachers
I salute Iran‘s freedom-loving teachers who have risen up all across the country. With their chants of “Teachers would die but won’t accept humiliation,” they echo the cries of all Iranians who are tired of the mullahs’ oppression and injustice.
Khamenei, Raisi, and his cabinet of IRGC terrorists and torturers squander the Iranian people’s assets to make bombs, missiles, and drones. Thus, they keep teachers and other sectors of society under the poverty line.
As the courageous Isfahan people and farmers showed, the only way to confront the mullahs’ oppression is to rise up. Only the outright rejection of religious fascism and establishment of democracy and national sovereignty can end water shortages, poverty, corruption, high prices, discrimination, injustice, as well as social and environmental disasters.
The relentless protests and demonstrations of teachers, educators, farmers, workers, nurses, retirees, and other hardworking sectors of Iranian society indicate the Iranian people’s determination to fight the mullahs’ criminal religious fascism.
It is a patriotic duty to support the protests and rightful demands of the arisen sectors in every city and province.
I call on all my compatriots, particularly the high school and university students and the academics, to demonstrate their solidarity and support for the just demands of Iran‘s freedom-loving teachers.
