At Least 285 protesters killed by the mullahs’ regime 99 victims identified
The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced that at least 285 protesters have been killed by the religious dictatorship ruling Iran during the nationwide uprising. The actual number is much higher and the regime is doing its utmost to hide the scale of its savagery.
A majority of the those killed are young people, some of them teenagers, mostly shot in the head and chest. The PMOI has identified 99 of the victims so far.
Maryam Rajavi underscored that the slaughter of the protesters is undoubtedly a manifest case of crime against humanity and urged the United Nations Security Council, governments and the international community to bring about an immediate halt to the killings and suppression, and secure the release of those detained. She also demanded that investigative missions be sent to Iran to examine the case of those killed, the wounded and the prisoners. Mrs. Rajavi added that the leaders of this regime must face justice for committing crimes against humanity. Silence and inaction vis-à-vis crimes against humanity, she said, are not only a violation of international conventions, laws, and standards but also embolden the mullahs to continue these atrocities against the Iranian people and expand it to the rest of the region.
