Maryam Rajavi meets with Dr. Riyadh Yassin, Yemen’s Ambassador to France and former Foreign Minister
The Ambassador of Yemen underscored the support of this people and government for the Iranian people’s courageous uprising against the mullahs’ dictatorship. He appreciated the positions of the National Council of Resistance of Iran against the Iranian regime’s policy of export of terrorism and fundamentalism abroad and its interventions in the countries in the region, including Yemen. He said, the victory of the Iranian Resistance not only brings freedom and progress to the people of Iran but heralds peace and friendship in the region and rids Islamic countries from the evil of this regime.
Mrs. Rajavi expressed her gratitude for the solidarity of the people and government of Yemen and said the Iranian people’s uprising rapidly spread to 142 cities and foiled the myth about the regime’s power base and showed that the Iranian people are determined to overthrow this illegitimate and decrepit regime.
Maryam Rajavi recalled the stances of the Iranian Resistance since three decades ago on the need to counter the warmongering policies and terrorist meddling of the clerical regime. She emphasized that these interventions help save the clerical regime’s grips on power as its rule is propped up by suppression, executions, and export of crises abroad.
Maryam Rajavi strongly condemned the Iranian regime’s meddling in Yemen and its ominous ambitions against the people of Yemen which are in flagrant violation of the UN Security Council Resolution 2216. She reiterated the need for the International Community, the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to have decisive stances against this aggressive regime.
