Maryam Rajavi’s Meetings at the Paris International Conference

Maryam Rajavi met with General James Jones, former National Security Advisor to the U.S. President and Supreme Allied Commander Europe; General Keith Kellogg, former National Security Advisor to the U.S. Vice President and the President; and General Tod D. Wolters, NATO Commander (2019–2022). They discussed issues concerning Iran and the region.
During the meeting, General James Jones stated: I am highly optimistic about the future and the overthrow of the Iranian regime. I also believe that the policy of appeasement in Europe is gradually coming to an end. The presence of a powerful alternative under your leadership guarantees the future democracy of Iran.
General Keith Kellogg remarked: The year 2025 is a pivotal one for Iran and the region. On one hand, the new U.S. President is reinstating the maximum pressure policy, and on the other, the Iranian regime has suffered severe blows. The fall of Assad has exposed the regime’s vulnerabilities. We stand in solidarity with your Resistance, which is why I have been, and continue to be, on the regime’s various lists.
General Tod D. Wolters, expressing gratitude for the meeting and discussions, stated: We remain hopeful for the future and recognize that global peace is closely tied to the situation in Iran.
In this meeting, Maryam Rajavi emphasized that the establishment of democracy in Iran and peace and stability in the region hinge on the overthrow of the clerical regime. This objective can only be achieved through the efforts of the Iranian people and the Iranian Resistance. She highlighted that the Iranian Resistance is an independent movement that, for 45 years, has fought against the misogynistic and fundamentalist regime, relying solely on the support of the Iranian people.
Additionally, Maryam Rajavi held two separate meetings with Ms. Yulia Tymoshenko, former Prime Minister of Ukraine, and Mr. Janez Janša, former Prime Minister of Slovenia, to discuss the current situation and exchange views.
