Meeting with Former Prime Minister and Former Foreign Minister of Kosovo
On Saturday, September 9, 2023, Professor Abdullah Hoti, former Prime Minister and former Minister of Economy of the Republic of Kosovo, who is also a current member of the Parliament, and Professor Enver Hoxhaj, Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Kosovo, former Deputy Prime Minister, and former Foreign Minister of Kosovo, met with Maryam Rajavi. It’s worth noting that more than 95% of Kosovo’s population adheres to the Islamic faith.
Expressing his happiness at the opportunity to meet with Mrs. Rajavi, Professor Hoti stated: We have fought for freedom and democracy in our country for many years, and as a result, we are well aware of the conditions faced by the Iranian people and Resistance. I greatly admire your resilience and extend my congratulations for your years of unwavering persistence and struggle. Please know that you have many friends across the world, and I hope for the day when we can celebrate the freedom of your people in a free and democratic Iran.
Professor Hoxhaj, who served as Foreign Minister for over 5 years, Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo for 3 years, and currently holds the position of Deputy Speaker in the Kosovo Parliament, expressed: Although this is my first meeting with you, I have been acquainted with your struggle for a significant period, particularly during my years of government service. I have closely followed your efforts for the past four decades. I wholeheartedly endorse the vision of a free and democratic Iran, which I believe will undoubtedly become a reality, and your 10-Point Plan, which I have studied attentively. In my view, it is imperative that all European countries extend their support to your resistance.
Ms. Rajavi also expressed her gratitude to the former Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Kosovo. She highlighted that the clerical regime is currently at its weakest point in history. Despite Khamenei’s efforts, including bringing to power an executioner responsible for the 1988 massacre, Ebrahim Raisi, and employing brutal tactics such as slaughtering protesters and executing prisoners, the regime cannot quell the people’s anger and desire to overthrow it. Consequently, out of fear of another uprising and the eruption of public anger, they have resorted to widespread arrests, oppressive measures, and desperate actions and plots against the Iranian Resistance.
