Message of condolences by Maryam Rajavi on the demise of Dr. Allan Gerson, the Counsel and the great defender of the Iranian Resistance in the United States
The Iranian people will forever remember and cherish Dr. Gerson’s role in the legal team representing the Peoples’ Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) in the complex and difficult, but successful campaign to revoke the terrorist designation of the PMOI/MEK in the United States and his efforts to defend the MEK during its stay in Iraq.
He actively participated in different meetings and conferences and his essays in defense and in support of the combatants of Iran’s freedom were quite impactful.
No doubt, future generations in Iran and America will speak fondly of this great and noble defender of human and civil rights.
Certainly, on Iran’s liberation day and the Iranian people’s victory celebration, Iranians will feel this passionate and staunch advocate of human rights and freedom present in spirit beside them.
