Brutal Execution of 16 Prisoners, Including a Female Inmate, on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 1st and 2nd
Mrs. Rajavi emphasized that executions and warmongering are Khamenei’s tools to counter the uprising and the regime’s overthrow. She called on the international community to support the campaign against executions and to condition relations with the religious fascism on halting executions and torture
On Wednesday, October 2, 2024, Khamenei’s henchmen hanged seven prisoners, including a female inmate. On that day, Hamzeh Shahbazi, Fazlollah Pournasiri, Behnam Hosseini Dastjerdi, and a woman who had been imprisoned for eight years, along with two other prisoners in Qezelhessar, and Vahid Norouzi in Mashhad, were sent to the gallows.
On Tuesday, October 1, 2024, Khamenei’s executioners hanged nine prisoners, including Nima Moradi, Nosratollah Ne’mati, and Mehdi Khorsan in Ilam; Rashid Sepahi in Saravan; Meysam Mozaffari in Kashan; Nasser Jamshidi and Dastgir Sasouli in Semnan; and two other prisoners in Kerman.
On Sunday, September 29, 2024, Abdul Habibi in Kahnuj and Mojtaba Zafarani in Birjand were hanged by Khamenei’s executioners.
On Monday, September 30, 2024, in addition to the public execution of two prisoners in Khomein, as previously reported, Nasar Ahmad Rahmati was hanged in Zahedan.
On Thursday, September 26, 2024, in addition to three prisoners previously reported, Shahin Yousuf Oghli was executed in Tabriz.
On Monday, September 23, 2024, seven prisoners were executed, four of whom were named in the October 5 statement. On the same day, Khodamorad Zandi in Boroujerd, Ramin Poursafar in Rasht, and Mohammad Reza Nejati in Shiraz were also executed.
Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), stated that exporting terrorism and warmongering abroad, along with execution and repression at home, are Khamenei’s only tools to confront the outpouring of public anger that has long sought the regime’s overthrow. As she announced yesterday at the Council of Europe, Mrs. Rajavi once again called on the international community to support the “No to Execution” campaign and to condition relations with the religious fascism on halting executions and torture.
