Meetings with parliamentarians in visit to Helsinki
In a four-day trip to Finland, Maryam Rajavi met Finnish parliamentarians, ministers and political leaders.
A delegation of parliamentarians and political dignitaries as well as hundreds of Iranians welcomed Mrs. Rajavi at the airport.
During her stay in the Finnish capital, Mrs. Rajavi met the Minister of Justice, chairmen of the committee on Foreign Affairs, Human Rights, Constitution, Law, and Employment and Equality. Mrs. Rajavi also met the leaders of the Greens, the Left Coalition and the Socialist Groups.
In the Parliament, she also met the Chairwoman of the Finnish delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe.
Discussions focused on the situation in Iran and the protection and safety of residents of Camp Ashraf in Iraq.
Mrs. Rajavi visited the Museum of Marshall Mannerheim, Finland’s national hero, where she presented a book containing the names of 20,000 martyrs of the Iranian Resistance.
