Meeting with the Member of the Bundestag’s Committee on Family, Women, Youth and Civil Services

Mrs. Rajavi also met with Mrs. Katharina Landgraf, Member of the Bundestag’s Committee on Family, Women, Youth and Civil Services.

In the meeting, Mrs. Rajavi thanked her for her effort in defense of Iranian women’s rights. She also elaborated on the role of Iranian women in the uprising, their standing in the ranks of the Iranian Resistance, in particular in Camp Ashraf, and their impact on the struggle of Iranian women and youths against dictatorship. She underscored the need for support the women in Camp Ashraf.

Mrs. Landgraf emphasized her continued support for the Iranian Resistance and efforts in defense of Ashraf. She reiterated that she will do everything in her power at the Parliament and in Europe, to support the residents of Ashraf and defend them against the Iranian regime. She also stated that she was pleased to see that women occupy important positions in the Iranian Resistance and play such a crucial role in the uprising against dictatorship.
